Installation Guide for Sublime Text 3 with Stata
1. Install Sublime Text
Download and install Sublime Text appropriate for your OS from the following link: https://www.sublimetext.com/3

2. Install Package Control
Run Sublime Text and then select Tools-Install Package Control... from the top menu.

3. Install Stata plugin appropriate for your OS

1. Press ctrl+shift+p, p, c, i, Enter: Search and install StataEditor.
2. Press ctrl+shift+p, p, c, i, Enter: Search and install Pywin32.
3. Run Stata as Administrator and then execute the following code to install the sublime package: https://github.com/jh-min/sublime#installation
1. Press ctrl+shift+p, p, c, i, Enter: Search and install StataEditor.
2. Press ctrl+shift+p, p, c, i, Enter: Search and install Pywin32.
3. Run Stata as Administrator and then execute the following code to install the sublime package: https://github.com/jh-min/sublime#installation
ssc install sublime , replace
4. Once the installation is complete, type sublime in the command window.
5. Quit Stata.

1. Press command+shift+p, p, c, i, Enter: Search and install Stata Improved Editor.

4-1. Open your do-file with ctrl/command+o in Sublime Text, then you will see the code highlighted.
4-2. In StataEditor and Stata Improved Editor, you can execute your do-file via ctrl+d.

- The bottom-right corner of the Sublime Text window should say Stata(If not, click the text on there and select Stata from the drop-down list).
- (In case of StataEditor) If you want to run Stata as Administrator, you should run Sublime Text as Administrator.
- (In case of StataEditor) If you quit Sublime Text, Stata will also be quitted!
